Privacy

This site has no accounts and never asks for your name or contact details. Nothing on our server identifies you directly.

Stored in this browser: a record of each puzzle you finished (time, wrong taps, whether you showed answers), the spots found in a puzzle in progress, your larger-text setting, and ranking start tickets. Clearing your browser data removes them.

• The puzzle edits and draws the pictures inside your browser. Paintings and object pictures are served from our own site. Where you tap is never sent anywhere.
• Today's rankings are run by our shared ranking service (ranks.gwirae.com). Pressing Start gets a start ticket from it; finishing sends the ticket back along with whether you used a helper. The service may set a cookie (rk_k) to recognize this browser, and it measures the time itself. Wrong-tap counts and tap positions are not sent. Names are shown only for people who created a Gwirae account; see that service's privacy policy for details.
• Beyond that, our server keeps only anonymous counts: the date, a step name such as opened, started or finished, the page language, and a rough referral label. We don't read IP addresses or device details, and no times or pictures go into it.
• To cover running costs we may show Google AdSense ads on result screens and guide pages. Google may then use cookies or ad identifiers under its own policies. No ads appear while you play or on print pages.

Retention and deletion

Apart from anonymous counts, nothing stays on our server. Values in your browser disappear when you clear its data. Ranking records follow the ranking service's policy.

This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically injects an analytics script into our pages. We didn't add it, so we've set things up so your browser blocks it. Nothing gets sent. The tag itself still shows up in the page, and we'd rather you know.
